Involved players and ball are cutout frame-by-frame
in ProCreate. Cutouts are chunky and imprecise to add
texture and eye-catching shapes. Cutouts are colour
corrected, enchanced with grain, and drop-shadowed
to add texture against the background

The cutouts are imported into Premiere Pro where they
are cropped, layered, and sequenced on-top of the
blueprint background. The text and
arrows are also rendered in stop-motion

Use of Premiere Pro's built-in blur on the transform
effect and fast camera movements, lends a momentum
to the sequence that makes it feel more dramatic.

As soon as the ball leaves McCain's hands, the
blueprint background is torn away. A transparent
text layer, in conjunction with the song's lyrics,
separates the fore and background with a new
sequence in the text layer. This new sequence
fully reveals itself after the ball and net are
out of frame

The transparent text layer is used as a recurring
motif, synchronizing with the chorus or
Jared McCain's singing to (literally) foreground
touchstone moments in the video
